You don’t need to be enrolled to see a health professional, but enrolled patients at Te Hā Health Care receive lower fees and continuity of care.

Some patients may qualify for support such as Community Services Cards or other funding options. Our team can help you check your eligibility.
Yes. Missed appointments without notice may incur a fee. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Te Hā Health Care offers same-day acute care during opening hours. If you need care after hours, call us on 06 357 8061 and we can direct you to local urgent care services. In a life-threatening emergency — such as severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, or excessive bleeding — call 111 immediately.
Standard appointments are typically 15 minutes. If you have multiple concerns or complex needs, longer appointments can be arranged, just let us know when booking so we can allow enough time.
Repeat prescriptions can be requested through the Local Health App or by contacting us on 06 357 8061 or hello@tehahealthcare.nz .
Yes, where possible. Let us know your preferred doctor when booking, and we’ll do our best to schedule you with them.
We offer a wide range of health services, including:
- Preventative health checks – routine screenings, immunisations, and general health reviews
- Specialist referrals – your clinician can refer you to a specialist or other healthcare provider if needed
- Long-term condition management – ongoing care and support for conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses
- Medical certificates – booked through an appointment with one of our doctors; in some cases certificates may be issued after a consultation.
